The Hobby Hub started with one frustration: San Diego didn’t have a place where serious collectors could go to actually experience the hobby — not just transact. We built the gallery and lounge we always wanted.
A passion project, made permanent.
What began as weekend trade nights in a friend’s garage outgrew its space — and its ambition — within a year. We saw what San Diego was missing: a destination where the cards themselves were treated like art.
In 2026, we opened the doors to the Hub on Miramar Road: part gallery, part lounge, part private members’ club. A place where you could rip a $500 box in style, get an honest appraisal on a family heirloom, or just kill an afternoon talking grading with people who actually know the market.
Today, we’re proud to be San Diego’s home for high-end cards — and the everyday collectors who love them.
